This is a brand new Xiangqi (Chinese Chess) set with a foldable passbook size chessboard in fine plastic and metal material. The chessboard measures 8" in length, 7" in width, and 3/16" in thickness when unfolded. This is the most common size of mini chessboard, making it possible to be set up on a coffee table, resting on your palm, as well as giving you the convenience of putting into your pocket. The chessboard is foldable, with a nicely designed storage compartment for storing the chess pieces. When folded, the chessboard gives adequate mechanical strength to withstand general impact. The round playing pieces are made of soft magnetic materials. The magnetic properties of the chess pieces enable them to stay in place even when the chessboard is tilted.
