Tin Can Alley Rules Stack up the cans on a table or a garden wall, four cans along the bottom, three on top of those, two on top of those and one at the very top. Make a line in the ground with twig, string, or whatever you have to hand. If you have various ages of players you may want to make several lines, one further away for the older players. You can even dream up a penalty system for those that are just too good. Choose one player to keep Score or alternatively Find someone to keep score and take it in turns to throw the bags at the cans. After each person's turn, jot down of the total score of all three throws - 10 points for knocking all ten cans down and so on (one point per can).You can play this game as individuals or in teams. When everyone has had an equal number of goes (you can decide on the number of goes before or during play when you are ready to end the game) count up all the scores. The player or team of players with the highest score wins!
