Here is a sensational routine for young and old in which you involve a spectator. The principle of Make Me Like Me to come up with different final surprises!
Invite a viewer (children or adult). Suggest that he test his ability to be a magician. Explain that in magic there is a routine very commonly known as Chinese rings which consists of enclaving metal rings between them. Only the magician is able to cross the material to connect the two rings.
Give the spectator a triangle of pink folded paper and hold a second. Ask him to do exactly the same as you do. Cut out the paper following the pre-cut dots, and the viewer does the same.
Gently unfold the whole and ... you find yourself with two separate rings (you, the magician, have not succeeded), and the child, it, has two rings perfectly enclosed! It's a miracle, everyone applauds it! He is a magician!
You will obviously be able to use other scenarios. For example you succeed and the viewer does not.
