The Limited-Edition Texaco Porcelain Station is part of the Texaco Filling Station series of hand-crafted porcelain replicas, and captures the essence of earlier times. Opened in 1917, Texaco's first service station in Houston was located at 706 San Jacinto. It was a regular storefront and provided curb service and Texaco products to Houston motorists of that day. What was particularly unique about this station was that it was designated as a "service station" at a time when such stations were called "filling stations." Features a colorful Christmas theme and lighted interior. Each of the porcelain replicas manufactured is unique. Each piece is hand-crafted and assembled, assuring that no two pieces are alike.
