A high quality scriber is a tool with many purposes, and this one is excellent. Like all high quality tools, it will last almost forever if looked after, so do replace the protective tip cover when not in use (It is also safer that way as it IS very sharp! It will: Cut glass (We use it to cut microscope glass to size for windows), Scribe anything! Plastic, copper, brass, nickel silver or steel. It will also act as a centre-point marker for fine drills, act as a marker for centre drilling loco marker lamps in diesel bodies etc. The list is endless..
